Don’t overcomplicate healthy eating
Focus on nourishment.
Not on calories, not on fad-diets, not on “expert” advice.
Eat what people have eaten around the world and throughout history. Eat what is nourishing to your cells- nutrient dense plant and animal products from healthy plants and animals. Steer clear of pesticides, additives, preservatives, artificials, sweeteners, etc.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. Eat real food. You don’t have to figure your way through a maze of propaganda and marketing to nourish yourself.

There’s so much information out there, but it’s not really as complicated as we make it ❤️🥕
Here are some notes I wrote a while ago when thinking about what defines “health food”:
God made it
soaked grains
fruits and veggies
pastured meat and eggs
raw dairy
fermented foods
locally available
seasonally available
bioavailable
non-GMO
organic
wild
ancient cultures ate it
